Default Selling my 929 ;(

This blows, selling the baby - just need the cash sinceI am getting married in 25 days. If anyone knows anyone in the midwest looking for a great bike,I will let my baby go for $5500. I am trying to sell locally before posting on ebay. email me for any more details/pics.... Also, below is the craigslist description.

Later guys,

First off it makes me sick to see this bike go, it is just abolutely perfect. You would be hard pressed to find another 929 in the country in as good of shape as this one, come check it out! Getting married in 4 weeks so thisperformance machine has to go.

This is a 2001 Honda CBR 929RR (929cc engine) . It has a total of 9,832 miles on it. I am the 2nd owner, my uncle was the first and only owner until he left it to me in his will. This bike was always babied and averaged only 1570 miles per year. 100% mechanically sound. Maintained by certified Honda mechanic every pre and post riding season. My uncle basically rode very little, I put most of the miles on when I would visit him in the summers. Awesome bike, SHOWROOM CONDITION. Tires at about 70%, won;t need to change for a couple summers. This thing turns heads like you wouldn't belive. The right bike, the right extras, call me and make an offer.

929's are the pinnicle of the sports bike world, considered by many to be one of the best all around bikes ever produced. (google reviews of this bike) These are rare bikes, you won't see 1000's of them on the road like many other models. And since they are so powerful they are usually always owned by expiranced adult riders who respect these machines. This bike has NEVER been dropped, stunted, wheelied, raced, etc.

Extras/Upgrades:
Full $1600 titanium exhaust system (not just a bolt on) sounds VERY mean.
Carbon fiber upgrades include chain guard, ram air ducts, and others.

After market flush mount front turn signals. After market LED back signals.

Complete LED glow kit, looks unreal at night.( see pics)

Aftermarket handle grips (cbr racing)

Good luck and thanks for looking.

No kidding! I just got mine and there is another guy, who hangs at the local coffee shop
with one. Go figure -- the only two on Vancouver Island I would bet ;-)

They are rarer here than Repsol 1000RRs. There are at least four of them at the coffee shop :-)
