Default running problems

got my bike out the other day and was riding and after awhile i was just riding down a straight road and it started to cut out and bounce around on me. So i thought maybe i wasnt paying attention and closed off the throttle so i didnt worry to much about it. Well i got it out today and after about 10 minutes it started doing it again. It got more and more frequent the farther away I got. I then came to a stop at a traffic light and it died on me holding the clutch in in 1dst gear. I went to take of and it died again. So i pulled in a parking lot and started it in neutral and put it in 1st and it died. So i re-started it, put it in 2nd and it took off! I got about half way up the hill in 2nd gear and itstartedto cut in and out and then it died!So once gain i started it back up and took off and it was fine until I got to the top of the hill and in 3rd gear i died so i oulled in the clutch and coasted...... Im clueless, I have zero idea whats going on besides possible a fuel pumpissue, maybe faulty ground or something? anybody have any ideas other than that? if i cant figure it out im going to take it to the honda shop and getit taken care of which id rather not do!any ideas before i have to do that?

Did you change anything or replace anything recently, maybe you left something loose?

When it dies and you resart it does it start right up?

i knew someone with a similar problem. his zx9 cut off on the highway. i came to look at it and it would start fine but everytime he put it in gear and/or take off , it would cut off. he had a bad kickstand switch so i bypassed it and it was cool. worth a check

i actually just replaced the kickstand switch... the only reason i dont think that is it, is because when i had that problem it would die in every gear no matter what as soon as i put it in gear! its not doing that, its intermittent, when im riding in gear.. i was kind of thinking what NY is thinking.. Im going to check the plugs and put some fresh gas in it and see how it acts.. if anyone else has had any problems like this lets hear them, so i can try to get this worked out! thanks for quick responses, i really appreciate it!
