Reverse Shifter
Anyone here use a reverse shifting pattern? I have it on my bike and is a little odd at first.. easier to shift by stomping then lifting for me anyhow. If someone tried to steal my bike by hotwireing.. ill bet they wont figure out what the hell is wrong when they try to start in 6th gear.

RE: Reverse Shifter
yeah, i could go either way.. for me there isn't enough gain to spend money to reverse it into GP style. only real advantage is when you are making a hard/steep tuen your foot wont get sucked under from the road grabbing at your foot. also helps with hitting that damn neutral when casualy shifting.
"to answer everyone that sent me a PM on how to reverse the shifting to GP style, here is the best i can do for you.
when i bought my bike it came with the reverse shifter pattern installed. so i have no clue on how it was done. The only ways i know for sure on how to do it is by buying a new rearset with the reverse option, DYNOJET's quickshift mod comes with a reverse shifting option. Another way is to buy a longer rod from the shifter to the clevis but i have not found anything like that for the 929 yet for you guys. On some bikes i hear you can just rotate the clevis 180 degrees to get reverse shifting but i think thats only for kawasaki's or suzuki's.
sorry if i can't be more of help.
