Default Really dumb question!

alright i was riding with some guys and i saw that they had seat bands around the front brake fluid resevoir whats that reasoning for this or is it just for looks lol?

LOL........nope it adds 5rwhp!! Get one!!

It's because of racers. Somehow it migrated to the street. It's there so IF.......(keep in mind thats a BIG IF) a racer had to fill up his resivior for what ever reason during a race or if it was a little OVER full to begin with......it will catch any that may seep out and not let it run down the bike anywhere.
That's all. And......it looks cool. LOL.

HA thats wut i thought i was sure though other than catching any spills it has absolutely no other purpose lol but yea i could definately tell a huge power difference with it on my buddies bike i might just have to get one lol

the real reason is because of the plastic resevoir. sun can damage the fluid if it is exposed too long.
