Default RAM-AIR

hey was up its me again and I got this idea probally thought of before but I didn't see anything mentioned about it when I did the search so here goes.

I have been making myself more familiar with my new bike and in a previous post I was curious about the ram-air or rather lack there of on the 929 but there are tubes but no collector for it like on the ZX12 (the scoop in the front of it) and I was wondering if it was possible to mount 2, one on each side were the tubes are these "ELETRIC SUPERCHARGERS" E-RAM's from www.electricsupercharger.com?

I wanted to see how much air the motor actually sucked in during revs to about 6k so I took off the cover to expose thee tube and placed my hand there and found the air being drawn in felt minimal and I know that these E-RAM's blow enough are to launch themselves into the air so what do you guys think?

can the charging system handle it?

I was thinking about just doing an on off switch vs a full throttle application because its easier.

and when its not on it still allows just as much air to flow as without it being in place.

well I guess there is no interest but would anybody be interested in a cheap ram-air modification? less than a $100 maybe $50?

I would think something like this you would have to sit down for awhile and really fine tune it with a powercommander. Where do you plan on installing this computer fan looking thing?

well I was going o install it inline with he existing tubes, one on each side.

I would have to cut the tubes shorter, fit an adapter(ie a 3-4in plumbing adapter) the fit the fan inline then that would be it besides the powering of it.

its not a computer fan its a high cfm exhaust gas ventalating fan, it just happen to be 3 inches round and 5 inches long.

its more complicated than that but I didn't want to give it all away for free. lol

but I think I'm just going to try and do a simplier ram-air design first no fans but with the design I could simply add them in later

yeah I'm sure if the ram-air design is effective the stock ecm should be able to add more fuel tocompensate for the additional air if not then the air fuel mixture will need to be adjusted via power commander or what have you.

I would just try to do some type of ram air and stay away from the Electric turbo thing.....
theres been a few write ups on the car forums i visit and there is nothing but negative feedback / loss of power from them...
