Default Price Opinion on Erion

Hello all, I am a CBR lover and have owned an old 250RR, 450R and 600 F4i. I am looking to get an Erion Edition 929RR and I have finally found one in my area! It has less than 6,000 miles and is in great condition! The price is a little more than I was hoping to spend, but it does have a few small upgrades.

My question is, what do you guy's think this bike is actually worth?

2001 HONDA CBR 929 ERION RACING

Thanks in advance for all replies!

That bike was worth the $5500 in 2006. These days it's worth $3500 or less.

There is nothing different about the Erion other than color and a painted frame.

just the bike? or all of the gear, upgrades, and extras....

demon is right. but that listing should bring more than $3500 because of the gear, the tank bag, the extra filters, new ss lines, and upgrades on the bike. then, it looks like it has been really well maintained, plus the low miles...

it's up to you. i don't think it's worth $5500, but i don't think it's worth $3500 either (which is what i think a "normal" erion is worth). figure out what it's worth to YOU and negotiate with the guy if you want to go for it

That exhaust is ugly. Keep in mind that new ones are hard to find these days.

"Steal" brake lines.....should tell you something.

I picked one up earlier this year for $3000. Has substantially higher miles on it, but was in pretty good shape! There is one on the Denver CL right now for $5200 and looks really nice, but it won't sell at that price! I agree that $3500 or less is right where it should be...

I don't really want/need the jacket or helmet. The stabilizer really isn't all that important to me.

I did notice the spelling error on the brake lines. Possibly, he really did steal them?!?!

I was thinking it probably wasn't worth more than $4k to me as is. Interesting that most of you seem to think it is worth $3,500 or less. The bike is VERY low miles, looks to be in pretty great shape and does have some money in it/extras thrown in!

I plan to make an offer soon, but want to let it sit for a bit of the season, thinking he may soften the price.

Of all of the extras, the scott's stabilizer is the one you want. The 929 needs it...

See if he has the original exhaust and tail parts.
What else has he hacked, I mean "upgraded" on it? It's only worth a premium price if it's in original condition.

That bike is not worth 5500 but its not worth 3500 either...

Depends on the market. Where Im from it would be a lil higher. For example I bought mine with 18k for 3950.... runs great still to this day with 32k+

If you end up buying the bike and dont want the stabilizer, please lmk asap... I will buy that off you in a second
