so what your saying is you didnt have the extra 20 or so cents per gallon for the 4 gallons of gas to run 91 octane?

you couldnt spare .80-$1.00 to fill you bike up with the recommended grade of gas, so you were willing to take the chance of possibly F-ing up your engine for a $1.00?

times must of been real hard![sm=noooo.gif]

Running 91 here. Got the bike mapped with that fuel in it, so all should be gravy...

There's a gas station like 5 blocks from my house that sells 100 octane for like 6.50 a gallon... Might give that stuff a try some time, but 91 works for me! (I live at 5500' elevation btw)

You'll more likely F up your engine running the wrong octane (high or low). The owner's manual calls for 87 octane, why f with that?
