Default possible electrical problem

Hey guys im new to the forum i hope everyone is doing well, I have a 2001 cbr 929rr and i think i have an electrical problem.. If anyone can help or has some ideas i would greatly appreciate them. i was riding down the road and it just quit, i turned the switch off and then back on and it started right up , a few days later it did the same thing , it has done it a few more times but it has left me a little longer each time. the only thing i noticed was when i turn the switch on no noise from the fuel pump. i jumped the fuel pump and it comes on , so i tried to start it that way with no luck. i ended up replacing the wiring harness "which i purchased from ebay with the computer and all relays" and put it back together and it started right up. rode it for the rest of last year and part of this year and it left me stranded again. this time the plug in between the rectifier and stator was melted , so i replaced the stator with a new one and my old rectifier and it is doing the same thing it did before, so i tried 2 more computers with no luck, any ideas ?

Default RE: possible electrical problem

I would check every connection to every componet for an open or short, and I would also measure every componet to make sure it was good, it will take a long time, but you will find your problem... then again I am kind of a nut when it comes to that stuff, I like going over every tiny itty bitty detail.
