Holy crap! The main thing is you were able to walk away relatively unharmed for a crash at that speed, hopefully the back doesn'tstart acting up later on.

On replacement parts I'dsay E-Bay might be your best bet. There are probably folks on here with more legal and insurance knowledge then I but something doesn't sound right here if he was at fault.

that sucks about the accident, you're lucky to come out of it in good shape, VERY lucky in fact. as for your bike, i was searching around on ebay and came across some fairing kits for the 929. some of them come unpainted, but others come with full Repsol paint (as well as other schemes) and look real nice, in the pics at least. reasonably priced too, although i'm not sure how reputable the seller is. i'd hate to order them only to find out they don't fit right. go to www.ebaymotors.com, and under "parts and accessories" click on "motorcycle". then just type in "honda 929 (fairing)" in the search field and it should pop up all the results i'm looking at right now. some come as whole body kits, others are sold separately. you can probably find other parts the same way.

also, if you go with the unpainted body parts and don't want to have to order decals from Honda (i'm sure they're expensive), check out www.replicals.com. you can find pretty much any decal you need for your bike at a reasonable price there. there are also some guys on this forum who can print you custom decals, just ask around in the off topic forum.

So you're driving in those conditions, after being cut off once and then you go through all of that and by the time you land on your head you're still doing 70MPH and this is all someone elses fault? And quit yelling, it's stupid.

Hate to hear that, glad your ok, as said hopethe back doesn't hit you later. That's my biggest fear being new to riding on the street. All the other yahoos. I cruise around ebay some, if I see something I'll hollar. He didn't see ya sounds like he wasn't paying attention to me. You know how comfortable it gets on four wheels. Good luck getting it back together and like I said glad you didn't get roughed up worse.

This one's for "THE X" listen I was on a "asphalt road" on an express way in California and if your doing 70MPH here thats at least 15 to 20 MPH slower then everyone else and i was in the slow lane when this happened I was getting ready to exit off when this happened the truck cut across "TWO LANES" so that he wouldn't miss his exit just before he cut the lanes traffic abruptly stop for what ever reason then he cut me off. since he cut me off I had an even shorter time to stop so to avoid him i braked to slow down and turn in to the emergence lane / shoulder lane then he turn in to the emergence lane / shoulder lane thats when I caught the gravel/dirt under my tires. so you tell me ,when someone abruptly cut you off from "TWO WELL THREE LANES (if you count the shoulder) ". Then slams his brakes on in front of you what would you do??? I think I did a great job considering he had no damage to his truck (two small scratches) my bike isn't as bad as it could of be and I got up and walked away pretty much unharmed and for the yelling I have a right to be upsetand if it happened to you I know you'd be upset to. Too everyone else thanks for your concern and help
