My undertail just cracked on the bottom and the person that had it before me tried to do a custom eliminator with the rear fender and failed. where do u mount the the key switch for the seat to flip up and where can you find cool ones?

I have never seen the quaility but they look nice and they come with the lock relocation. It is also a bit expensive

lol the idiot who owned my bike last did the same thing, cept for they also relocated the lock, too bad they didnt make it so that it works...if all else fails you can dremel a hole in the bottom of your undertray and just open it with your finger

i think you can also modify the locking mechanisim so that you can install it on the underside, if im not mistaken it just requires a little bend in the arm that releases the trunk.

 

my 929 had a fender eliminator installed on it when i bought it and the key was relocated under the tail. i didnt think anything of it till i went to open it after a long ride with a little rain. there was so much road crud in the lock that i had to blow it out with an air gun before the key would go in. hugger solved some of the problem. just something to think about.

I went with a Mototeck undertail with seperate blinker,tail light and liscense plate leds and comes with a plate mounting hardware,a bit more than the others but well worth it to me.
