Default new rider

I learned how to ride a street bike last summer and fell in love with them. I Just bought my first bike 01 CBR929 after never even being on a dirtbike. so far i am loving riding around on the bike but im starting to feel like an idiot because i dont have the common knowledge that someone who owns a streetbike should have. for example how often for oil changes and any other basic maintenance? is it the same as a car or what? Please help

When I got my F-3 I did it every thousand also but that kills you on oil so now I'm about every 2000 now. Just don't go over 3. So have you scared the sh*t out of yourself on that bike yet? lol

Haha, be careful when you hit the triple digits, almost going too fast to notice the cop on the side of the road

Yeah EVERYTHING'S more "meaningful" at triple digits - I took a huge bug in the face shield at 105 - 'bout took my head off. ( maybe it was a bird.......)

Yea tell me about it your lucky if take it in the face shield!! I got one right on my neck just above my jacket and below my helmet. I felt like some one shot me in the neck with a paintball gun. Had a great welt for about 2 weeks!!

See weeble, that's why you carry a pipe with ya.. just like in rat race.. out of nowhere a gang of 929ers will roll up with chains and pipes and destroy the car . wishful thinking.. but it would be cool.. The outlaws...
