My '00 929...17,5XX miles and still running strong

 

Was dorking around with my camera the other day and took the "arty farty" pic and then one that the track photogrpaher got of me at the track the other night.

Long story short...had a 01 929 last year...super clean, 6xxx miles beauty...traded it for a Harley Nightster. Right away, realized I missed the ol 'blade. Kept the Harley, found a cheaper GSXR 750 that had low miles and super clean. Kept both and rode them till just now...been looking all this time for another 929 I could afford. The gixxer was nice, but not as comfortable and snappy as the Honda. Found a super nice, clean 01 929 with 10xxx miles close by. Sold the GSXR on Friday, cash to the 1st person who looked at it, next day...bought the 929! Happy again!! Here are some pics of the red/black new one...and a pic of my old yellow 929.

Spent the last couple of months returning this old girl back to something acceptable. 37,000km (23k miles) on the clock and happy with the end result

 

New to the forums. Just bought a 2000 Honda CBR929RR on Saturday. 41,000 km's on it. Got it for $2900.
