I just joined the ranks of the 929 owners.

I just purchased this today for $2,900.00 with 5,200 miles on it. It still has the original tires and chain and rides like an absolutely new bike. In fact the rear fender hasn't even been hacked off. And the bike only has a few garage scars from where it fell in the garage. I'm pretty stoked. I've been a member for quite some time as a F4 owner. Now I will be frequenting both sections. I plan to do only a few tasteful mods, moderately quite exhaust like Akropovic, under tail, pegs levers and steering stabilizer. Oh it already has after market clip ons that raise up about an inch and a half which I'm very happy about since she will see so many highway miles.

you will love the 929. nice step up from the F4.

original tires? replace them soon. 12 year old tires are dangerous.

Hey nice looking bike and price you picked it up for is good deal with the low miles on it too. ( I think so)
Plus I love the red and black colors too!
I would paint all the sliver parts on the bike to black for a nice look but thats just me I can't leave anything alone!

What demon said, and replace those old valve stems. I had one crack at 70 mph on a front rim from the PO not changing stems when he changed tires. If I hadn't been wearing my full face helmet, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Don't want anything to happen to you or that nice bike.

Yeah tires have got to go, but I never thought of the valve stems also, that's a good call. It Def needs a new tune up just idles a little bumpy, probably nothing new plugs and some seafoam can't fix. Oh btw I had a 900rr long before the F4 so I was well prepared lol. But the brakes and low end are so much better than the 900rr.

+1 SirDemon...she's a beauty BTW....with such low low miles...even though tires may look new...but after all these years...tire compound have improved so much..and the power of the fireblade must be respected. +1 on new tires and ATGATT

Enjoy!

Thanks, estate. BTW I voted you for ride of the month, I'm pretty fond of a really clean 900RR. If only I had digital pictures of my old 900RR. It was a 96 my favorite year for the 900, but it was the unofficial Erion edition with a blacked out tail and all metal either chrome or polished it was a stunner.
