trying to decide on either polished or carbon fiber for my new bolt on,,,if you guys had this color scheme which way would you go,, im on the fence and need a push

OK - I really don't want to look like a total newbie, but what the hell is a "Bolt On"... - I know what a Slip on, slider, clipon, rearset, PCIII, Headshake, Tank Slapper, highside, and lowside, but I've never heard of a "Bolt on"...

BUT looking at your bike, I'd say the polished would probably be the way to go. - Not much CF already on it...

 

the 929 and 954 exhaust canisters dont slip on and use springs. They are mounted using a 3 bolt flange and " Bolt on"

But for the original poster... This is tough But i think the polished would be alittle too much with the swingarm right there..So im gonna say carbon

In this case, polished. - I just don't feel the mixture of polished/carbon - I'd love to upgrade some accessories on my bike with Chrome, but the previous owner did a lot in Carbon, so that decision had already been made...

 

also trying to decide between scorpion,micron,and two brothers,how would you rank these as far as loudest quietest ,,,,,ive listened to those dang sound clips so much they are all starting to sound the same

 

I've got a Micron, and it's not super loud. I think it's a nice deep tone to it. I hear a lot of people like them....

 

I always thought that the carbon pipes have a better sound to it.

 

im not a real big carbon fiber fan, but i think it goes well with the scheme u have. I have a 2 bros pipe on my 929, and love the sound, nice deep good tone, nice and loud, but not obnoxiously (sp)

 

either will look fine i think...personally i dont like the carbon fiber pipes i would say polished...but thats just personal preference
