as far as the gaps i put a small peice of rubber hosing around where the old tail light was and it gave me alot of support but i dont really like the look so im gonna try a lil bit of tweeking here and there to see what i can do with it ill post new pics when finshed

 

Why is the left side not the same shape as the right? did you cut it.

 

It's just a shadow, look a little closer.

 

if you read my post one before yours i put a peice of rubber hosing around that whole part because of the gap look real close where all the black is and you should notice but i just put it in and im gonna try to find something a lil better buti live in michigan and i got a little bit of time before spring so hopefully i make it work some how
