Default motorcycle accident

iwas on my way to school on a 2way street.i am following this lady. She pulls over to the right, 3ft from the curb, doesn't signal. As i am following, i am thinkin, what the **** is she thinking. So i just go straight, stay in the lane. Then, WHACK!....she makes a hard left without signaling, i hit the driver side fender, and i am flying in the air doing a combat roll to prevent hitting my head hard. i am thinking this is just a dream, but once i hear the lady flip out at what happened, i am thinking, "what the hell were you thinking". luckily, i have a witness that saw it and he saw what i saw. as soon as i got up, i asked her and she said she was trying to pull a u-turn, on a 2way! illegal at an intersection. i am ok thankfully, but my bike...i just had it for 3 months. lovin it, and is now grounded for now till i get some parts. it seems to be only cosmetic damage, luckily, i was going about 20-25mph. i am pissed!!! but i guess it could have been worse.

this is my first accident on a bike. what to do? wait for her insurance to call me. it was her ****in fault, it better be that way or else i am going to a doctor for another check up.

Glad to hear that you're okay. Hopefully damage to the bike is minimal. Don't be surprised if it takes a while for insurance to send you a check, they tend to be very slow with things. Hopefully you have a police report to corroborate what the witness says, it will help facilitate things.

Glad you're ok. Yeah, keep on the insurance or else they will look over you and drag their feet. Make them pay for everything from your towing to the medical bills to the bike repair. You should keep all receipts and be ready to consult a lawyer.
