Default RE: Low fuel light?

have you ever had any problems with your bike? considering you've had it new, your probably the best person to ask, never had any running issues? i only had a flat battery once, but, charged it up and it was fine. my own stupid doing though, chatting with quite a fine looking young lady, little did i know my headlight was on, stupid.

I don't want to jinx myself or anything, but it has been flawless since I bought it. I have a couple of the same issues several other people have had such as the cam chain ticking, and the HTEV noise, but other than that just your basic oil changes, plug, filter, and tire changes. 14k and I haven't had to change brakes yet either. I haven't actually taken it in to have those 2 issues looked at, I am just comparing the symptoms to what other people have described in this forum. My stock Yuasa battery lasted up until this season, I just had it changed this past month.

I have been told by a couple of service reps that for quality the rankings for the major manufacturers is Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, then Suzuki. The Gixxers are awesome bikes, but I can't afford to have any quality problems with them.
