Default Looking into a 01 929

I was looking on craigslist for a bike and came across a 2001 929, here is what i know.

-40k miles
-6k miles ago new motor (stock replacement)
-Never downed
-New exhaust (said it was a Yoshi exhaust and spent $1000)
-No paperwork on motor swap but done at a local shop
-"Never" raced/stunted

Wanting 4k for it

Anything i may need to ask/know, good deal/not, any flaws somewhere? I dont want to spend 4k on a bike that causes me more problems than good (im not to knowing when it comes to bikes so i dont know what to look for/ask)

I have a photo of it (looks clean as hell) but i cant upload to a file sharing website (government computer) i can email it to someone though if they would like to upload for me.

It wont open on paint its a .bmp file, that the only way i can think to copy and paste it. I emailed txsmainevent the image hopefully he can help me out a bit.

The seller sent me an email saying he has a guy coming to look at it today so it may sell before i even decide anything.

Here ya go. Had to do a few things to get it right. Looks good....Id start lower though. Id start at around 3500. Its a clean looking bike.

Oh and dont copy and paste that away. Get on photobucket (which will store your pics for years. I know. I had pics from 06) or imageshack which doesnt require an account. I hate when people post those dime size pics.... Do it right the first time.

Well **** happend with my truck, in a nutshell it basically needs to go to the body shop (someone close to me took it without asking than hit a big steel container with the back end). So i dont even know if i can afford a bike right now, i want it fixed ASAP but i might have to dip into my savings to fix it faster and just have them pay me back.

He also has said someone offered to trade him a "very nice" Mustang for it so i told him if he wants it to trade for it i cant gaurentee the 3000 i offered anymore. If i end up being able to pay for it again ill start again at 3500, I just feel 4000 may be a little high for that with 40000 on everything else but motor.

I was only asking $4300 for my Erion and it only has a little over 9K on it. Has tons of bolt ons. So asking $4k for something with over 40K on it is a little steep. But if he knows someone will pay it, more power to him I guess. Sorry to hear about you vehicle man!
