Do you think $2400 is fair? I plan on getting it if my car sells.

Just have him show you where the repair was made, to make sure there wont be any seepage issues, hopefully it was repaired well. (also be sure the title isn't salvaged!) The miles on the bike are nothing, it is a Honda after all. Give it a good once over in person, if all seems well, go for it.....it is an Erion for 2400.00. I'd have a blast trying to restore it! If you get it, post some "new owner" pics, good luck!

That looks exactly like my bike! My bike has the same story .. someone dumped it and pieced it back together. A few parts had to be replaced here and there, and I ended up painting it flat black since some plastics didn't match.

To give you an idea, mine has a little over 10k and I paid $2800 for it. Not sure if it was a good deal or not since I'm still putting it back together and going to register it soon. But it does run strong and nothing had to be welded, although it does have a salvage branded title. Good luck either way!

I'm not worried about the title being salvaged, I don't plan on selling it and I'm going to use it as my daily commuter

Just make sure you will be able to get it registered in your state

I'm guessing the bike in Northern Louisiana....i think the laws there are pretty lax...as for the drive.....i did Shreveport to NOLA in 5 hours, not the end of the world...go for it!

A few years back i was forced to make my VFR 750 a daily driver.....for an entire summer i was lucky enough to only get caught in the rain 3 times....aside from that, i didn't mind it at all!

People keep telling me its not practical. I've thought through all the risks and all. The people that said that also aren't riders so they don't know the feeling they give you and how great it is.
