Hi all

Was wondering if anyone has come across a problem like the one I am experiencing.
When I turn the key 'on' with the ignition switch to 'run' the red warning light flashes 9 times. This continues when you start the bike.
But when I take off the red light stays lit.
If I stop the bike and then restart it without letting it cool down the light stays on.

I took it to my local Honda dealer (where I bought the bike a month ago)and they couldn't find the problem and suggested I take it to a bike electrician.

I want to get it sorted before the three month warranty runs out.

Any ideas??

 

i would have to say the dealer you bought it from is responsible for finding out what the problem is and taking care of it.

 

9 flashes is the Intake Air Temperature sensor code, I believe. It's mounted on the backside of the air box. If you wanna lift the tank to get to it, you can check that the plug is connected, but beyond that Dluv35 is right - let the dealer own up.
