Hey AJ I bought this bike off you and you wanted me to let you know if I found the problem. It had a bad connection on the tilt sensor where it plugged into the main harness. This was causing all kinds of relay issues. Once i fixed the connection all the other problems with the bike resolved themselves. Have you heard anything about the title?

Thanks
Jeff

^ and that folks is the reason you must always go over the connections again and again even when you think they look fine ! its the little things that you will over look and bypass and its also how buyers catch once in a life time deals

+1
First thing to break is the last thing you touched.

That's exactly how I got a then-6-year-old Accord for 100 bux.....broken plug wire caused it to run on 3 cyl.

Seller swore up and down the motor was bad....that is until I showed up with plugs and wires, did acheapo tune upand drove away.

What I wanna know is what the selling price was on this bike.....It had to have been sweet.

Gonna have to pass! I've heard too many good things about these bikes and am already having trouble waiting till spring to get her out on the road!! Can't wait to see what she can do. There's snow on the ground now and am praying for a warm spell!!!

Ok got the battery to start the bike and it turns over fine, fuel pump primes and builds pressure but doesn't want to fire not even a sputter just cranks. I figure it is either not getting spark or fuel. I am going to check the injectors and plugs. But not sure which to check first. Anyone know which is easier on these bikes. Also if it was getting fuel through the injectors and not firing wouldn't there be the smell of gas from the exhaust??? I have gotten down there and taken a good wiff and nothing. Seems strange that if the injectors were pumping that I wouldn't have some sort of gas smell coming from the exhaust... If I pull the fuel rail will I be able to leave the injectors in the rail and see if they pump fuel?

Did the bike go down before you bought it? Either way try reconnecting the tipover sensor, on my 929 I cut few wires to bypass it and it wouldnt fire up. so i completely disconnected it and connected it back and she fired right up.
