Hey guy's, i know this is a subject of personal opinion more than anything, but curious if you guys can recommend a good jacket preferablly leather for the sake of my epidermis... Need some opinions before i go out and buy one..

 

Right after I bought the bike last September I went and started shopping around for gear. Just my opinion like you said, but I really like my Joe Rocket Meteor 5.0. The newer ones are out, but the 5.o's can still be had - mine was $200 then - I assume with the new "models" out you could get a 5.0 for less now. I think it's a great jacket, especially for the bucks.

PS - I know you mentioned leather, but give these a try - you might be surprised at how tough they are, and comfortable too.

 

I just bought a New Joe Rocket Sonic 2.0. Got it off ebay for $218. I love it, it feels good, has lots of pads and has zip out panels on the sides for summer riding.

 

i started off on my first bike with a frank thomas jacket. It served it's purpose I still have my skin. But I LOVE MY ALPINESTARS JACKET. LOL. I also have a mesh speedrags bonechiller, but there's nothing like wrapping up in a cow. (not what it sounds like)
