Default insurance prices

I live in Colorado and I know every state will be a bit different but I was thinking about doing some price shopping for insurance for my 929. Right now I pay a little bit over 700 a year through geico. And my driving record is almost spotless. I was just wondering what kinda prices others are paying that have the same bike? Thanks

I live in Michigan and pay about $215/year for PLPD. That's minimums with just enough medical to cover broken bones. My bike isn't nice, so I don't have collision or comp.

I'm 25 and have at least 3 speeds on my record,

I pay $12/Month for liability on my 929 and I cancel it in the winter months.

State Farm FTW!

thanks for the input guys. i did some shopping and geico is the cheapest i could find at 720 a year for full coverage and 1000 deductables. progressive was pretty close at 780 for the same coverage. there just arnt many companies out there that will touch the sport bikes. and some that do are wanting like 1800 a year. one place i called told me 2316 a year with 500 deductables, and like i said my driving record is pretty good. the last ticket i got was back in 2003 and it is off my racord now. but thanks for the input.

just to keep you guys informed on this topic, i just got a call from liberty mutual insurance and they said that they can do full coverage with 500 deductables for 32 bucks a month. but i have to have my truck insured with them too so i got a quote and they beat what i am already paying on my truck. so if anyone is looking for a good price on their bikie or auto insurance check liberty mutual out.

Jesus Lord you guys insurance is high! I'm 24 in Texas with 1 speeding ticket and only paid 167 (basic liability) for the whole year with Progressive. WE have such a short winter there is really no point to cancel it during the month and a half that we have it.

Ryda, are you married or underwritten under parents policy?? I turn 24 this weekend with one ticket on my record as well, and I pay $50+ per month with liability and theft. I'm also in Texas. I might have to look into Progressive insurance if they have a really good price.

I'm paying 190/yr for a 96 ZX7R and the 929 through Progressive... no comp or collision though.
