It starts off bout a month ago lost the only key to my igntion to my 929.The Honda dealer told me they could not make a key because they stopped recording the igntions in 1995. So i went and got one off the internet, it came in today from japan. I got it out looked at the plug and it was wrong. Instead of having four wires it had two and a ground. Soi was kinda pissed but tryed to make it work anyway. I wired the soild red wire(12 volt constant)on one side of the switch and the rest on the other. everything works on the bike except the fuel pump does not turn on, and when i temporay wired it to turn on it wont start so im have no igntion. Im dont understand the problem all the fuses are good in the fuse box. Does the ECM need to see a certain voltage? Any Help would be apperciated! Thanks!!

 

if its any thing like the junk titled 954 i bought, youll need a honda ignition. the one wire only powers up for a split second, acting as a theft deterent. cant wire it any other way, trust me, i tried. take the title w/ ya to the honda dealer and explain what happened. youll have to sign a paper for it too. kinda sucks.... hope this helps.
