Default igntion advance key

Does anyone run an advance key on a 600f. I wanted to get one but when I looked at mine the other day I noticed it was gold colered ( zinc plated ) I think it might be aftermarket already but I couldn't see any markings. Does anyone know if the stock key is that color. Also, did the advancer make any difference?

Sorry I will clarify. If you remove the igniton cover you can see the trigger/key. It is common to upgrade to a key which has a different setting to creat advance usually around 4 degrees. Check out this auction number on ebay

290138875056

So I had my cover off and my key is the same color as the one in this auction. I was thinking the factory one might be a different color like gear that connects to the starter. If so then I know I don't need to shop for one.
My friend installed one on his GSXR and said it had a little nicer throttle response. I was hoping someone had installed one on their F1 and could give me some feedback.
hope this clears things up.

The stock "rotor" should be a grayish color. If your is a "golden" color yours is probably aftermarket!
