Default I get so sick of.......

I get so sick of looking through these threads that people post with questions wanting help and seeking answers to only get several helpful tips and never to be heard from again. Like I see threads about problems and no conclusion. I really wish that people if they fix there problems would come back and at least say "hey thanks, that worked, or none of that was it, this was the problem and this is how I fixed it" I have gotten nothing but great advise and tips from this forum that I still come back here even though I have moved on to a different brand because the members here are so helpful. I wish people would give back as much as they take away. For a bike that was only around for 2 years it sure has a knowledgeable fanbase.

rant over!

At estate4life be advised that I still belong because I still own a 929 but or at least most of one but I get what you were trying to say though. Knowledge is knowledge though.

well I'm not sure how many people are on this forum but the forum itself dissects Honda motorcycles in depth. however, the only reason I'm on it is because i have a Honda. but that does limit the amount of people that will be on here. take into account a 2 year model like the 929 and you get left over with just a handful of people. i noticed a few members that put in work and are pretty much the only ones that respond on questions. i appreciate them very much but it's just not enough i think for most people.
i guess the only time i ask a question on here is if it very specific to the cbr929 model and i'm looking extra insight. stickied threads of common stuff are great on here as well.

It's kinda cool getting feedback/resolution from the folks asking the questions, but it
doesn't bother me if it's not forthcoming. I like to keep the karma flowing, so I'm hip
with the ones who don't get around to that part.

The main reason I'm here, doing research/dialog on motorcycle maintenance/street smarts.
I cruise thru here, looking at the answers to the problems. Whether it's an issue I'm
having or not, I'm looking to expand my knowledge of the whole field, anyway.

Since I rate myself as a pretty good mechanic/tinkerer, I like to help out the less
technically-skilled expand they're abilities. It's a pleasure of it's own, even without the feed-back.

I like to teach, it's my best shot at a legacy. ;-)

But what really gets me is people who don't read the rules fully or who try to cheat the system and get away with things they aren't suppose to do on the site.
