Ebay seller says that the 2001 RC wheels will fit a 929 and a 954...is there anybody that can confirm that. I dont want to spend 500 with no confirmation.

 

never done it, but here's my take... The internal cavity of the wheel is the same diameter on both the 929 and RC wheel. It's the inner bearing opening that's different. So the 954 bearings should fit in the RC51 wheel. Years don't matter, so you're good there.

They do swap but the bearings are different and I think there may be some difference in the spacers.

 

I have a sp1 rear wheel on my 01 929, and there is no fitment issues. i used my spacers and rotor.
