Default Homemade solo cowl

So I tried to make my own cowl out of a thrashed passenger seat. Its not perfect, and I'm not a bodyman. I used a couple layers of glass and bondo. What do ya guys think?

I'll post a pic of the whole bike once I get it together. Hopefully within a few weeks. I'm having some delays because I fractured my shoulder and knocked myself out on my motocrosser on the weekend. Damn dirtbikes get me all the time!

I was thinking about how gay this thing was going to look while I waited for the pic to download, but damn, I like it. I'm on my way to the local salvage to get myself one. Is it all glass filler though?

Its one overlapped layer of fiberglass, and bondo to smooth it out. It was fairly simple to make. I bought a fiberglass kit @ local auto store for about $10. It included enough resin and mesh for one good layer. It was the first time I ever worked with fiberglass and was suprised how easy it was. I put it directly over the seat after roughing it up. Not sure if it was the best way to go, but only time will tell.

Nice job, boss. I'm planning on fabricating a rear hugger in much the same way - I'll let you know how I make out.
