[sm=icon_rofl.gif]I'm going to get to your PM in a sec. Thanks for the complament but there hasn't been too many 929 or CBR's in general I haven't liked on here. I'm waiting for my H7 Yellow bulbs to come in for the high beams. I'll have to post a pic next week with them in. If anyone has a question on the HID's I can tell you all I know on them.

Yeah it's super bright at night but I'm not sure how it effects other drivers on the road. It is ilegal here to use H.I.D's if it's not OEM due to the lights initial design I tried the 8k but found it to be dull at night, at least the colour looked cool.

6000K is the brightest if all of them. I got the 8000K because of the blue look but I still want to see one with the 12000K because I think that would look neat. I was talking to triax about the idea I had of building a sheild around the bulb to reduce the glare. Most OEM housings for bulbs on cars have them but when you switch over to HID's because of the longer bulb the oem sheild dosen't cover the entire bulb and that is where the glare come from. Now the 929's have no sheilds and so when you switch to HID's there is some glare but there is also a little glare from the incondecents also. You try to balance look, function, andother motorist.I'd rather been seen then not seen. But there will be glare if you buy them for anyone thinking of it.

I've also heard of taking existing projectors from higher end cars and fabing them into the headlight assembly. If your not good with your hands I'd definatly not try this at home, this way you can direct the beam the way it was meant to be. Take a look at a gixxer or R1/R6,headlight, they are drop and go applications but ours are only meant for a halogen bulb. I love my Hid and am perfectly fine with leaving it this way. I was thinking of doing all three but since it takes a full minute for maximum discharge i'll stick with the single... As for the dude that said 3 would kill the system... These H.I.D's run at lower watts hense the ballasts.

^ do you have any pics looking dead on at the bike from a decent distance away? or any taken on a dark street while sitting on the bike.

Trying to get a view of how much better I would see and what it looks like from others.

Also maybe a level pic at a wall or garage from 15ft or so to see the glare etc

Thanks. also did you have to take the headlight apart or do any drilling?

Just picked up a 929 and will be doing alot this winter
