Hey Conrice ! Yea. Barly lol don't ride it much. Was just taking to demon about that . He's all winter is comming then I really won't ride lol . I'd rather wipe it down with a diaper and keep it like new lol miss the inline 4 action at times lol hows it going ? How's the fam?

 

Then pick another I4 up! Weren't you talking about an oil boiler at some point? We're good - we FINALLY got moved into a house in NC 2 weeks ago. But it's a lot of fun. How are you and your wife?

 

Hey man the fam is good got a new job working on triumphs BSA nortons and do my own stuff too ! I have a 98 Gsxr srad 600 needs a fuel pump so that bike might be my inline 4 fix lol I have a problem thoe lol 99 Kawi zrx 1100 problem lol did a basic tune up on it and now it runs like the timing is retarded . I checked all the easy stuff . Does the k tric system ring a bell ? It's basically a tps but can lock the timming up .

 

That's awesome man! Awesome. I know you were looking to get out of working on newer cars, right? That's sweet. I'm kind of doing something similar (not really though), I'm flipping bikes in my workshop (I could be picking up 3 xs650's this weekend)...

It looks like a lot of people try running it disconnected (because it defaults back to WOT setting). Maybe try that and see if it runs better???

What did you do to it when you tuned it up?

How was it running before hand?

 

Thanks man yea I love my new job !! Bikes rule !! Cars suck ! Lol yea the bike was running ok before . I just cleaned carbs replaced plug wire oil change . When I unplug the ktec it' doesn't change run the same I found one cracked intake boot would that cause it to run that bad ? The engine sounds like crockadile Dundee making a phone. Call no joke like with the rope and flap lol

 

Is it missin' on a cylinder or something? Do you have an infrared gun? Check the header temps. Maybe a DOA plug or something?

 

It's 500 temp on each hole lol lean as hell!
