I took the plastics off my 2000 929rr and need some help identifying some cables. I've snapped some pictures and color coded them here:





a) Plugged into my center headlight and worked
b) wasn't plugged in
c) was completely tapped to b and unable to plug into anything(possibly front blinkers?)
d) I believe goes to the rear lights and back break light
e) Comes from the left handle which controls the high/fog lights and blinkers all of which are not working.

I'm guessing e plugs into d, but if you compare them the lower row goes 3 metal plugs, space, 2 metal plugs(d) vs 2 metal plugs, space, 3 metal plugs(e). Can you tell from the picture which one is stock? Also, what you recommend is the best course of action to get this fixed(I plan to do all the mods/fixes myself so what if any parts should I need?)

Gauges work fine. Would like to know if they are stock though as it looks like there has been some work done to it.

The 2 green plugs weren't plugged into anything either.

ps. that's my roommates hand in the 2nd pic he is helping me with everything and I'm trying to learn as I go.

 

What all has worked on your bike before you took of the plastics?? Did it run?? If so, did everything work?? F looks like it could be the connections going to the starter switch.

 

C definitely looks like ur front blinkers. I rem the orange plug when i took of my front cowl. I will check tomorrow and c if i can help u with the others. Or did u figure it all out already?

 

oh and B looks like it might be ur high beam. U should have 3 of those plugs though, cuz 2 are high and 1 is low beam.
