what made you guys pick a 929 over another bike. Good and bads in your opinion. I really like how comfortable it sits and the power is def there.

I picked the bike because of its riding position, power, and handling capabilites. Not to mention its a Honda so it will run forever. The bikes suspension is fully adjustable and overall a great bike. And I got mine for a great price so that had something to do with it.

power and handling for sure. a whole lot less than a new one. I read reviews before I bought it and found nothing but positives. I love how it feels overall.

The only negative I read about them was the front end bounces a lot but thats it.

When I first got my bike i was looking for a 929 because of it's performance, technology, and price. Gsxer 1000 are too high priced R1's in my opinion aren't all that for real world use and the ZX- 10 was fairly new. Triumphs and ducati's were way out of range and under performnced.

To start, I was a typicalold man headed for a Harley when I saw a superbike perform out on the highway, and that's when I was convinced that's what I wanted.
As for 929, I'm a mechanic and I research like a madman any time I get into something new, and the more I read about what went into designing this bike (mine's an '01) and all the positive feedback about the performance and especially the handling, I hadda have one. Mine's on rails - no bouncing, tank-slapper-tendency, nothing. Fantastic machine.

Having just sold my bike and this one being the right price were big factors. The headlights of the 929 always attracted me. As soon as I got on her, I was sold. The lightness of the front end scared me at first, but my damper boosted my confidence in that.

beside the 929 just being an awsome all around sportbike, every time i think of upgrading to a repsol i go out and look at the trunk space on a 929.people i ride with drull over all the **** i can put in my trunk.besides that they are a solid great bike that has very little flaws and u just cant get that out off the newer bikes.
