Default Getting a stand for christmas

What i need to know is how thick the spacer to make up for the uneven sides of the 929's swing arm. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Vortex stands make a .75 inch spacer for their stand. I have this stand and had to use a piece of 1x4 wood to put under the right side wheels. There are some others that make the spacer, and others that have the adjustability built right into the stand.

If I may ask, does anyone know why the 929 has an offset swingarm.

I am probably going to be getting stands too. I was looking at the ones on this site:
http://www.heindlengineering.com/

Front and rear stands come out to less then $200 and shipping is free until Dec. 23rd.
They don't show the adapter for the 929 on their site but I sent them an email about and they do have the adapter which is free when you buy the rear stand, you just have to specify that it is for a 929.

I've been using a regular rear stand on the 929 for years and have never had a problem, it's not that big of a deal. If the spacer is available, get it if not don't sweat it.

I actually wound up getting the adjustable T Rex stands and they are really sturdy. It works great with the 929 swing arm.
