I saw all the other post's regarding gas mileage. But I was wondering how many you can get when the warning light goes on?

 

I have gone over 45kms on "reserve" and there was still jiuce left. Not having run it dry I am not sure how much further I would have got.

 

The first time I got my bike and rode it down to the warning light it was about 130miles, but since I reset the trip odometer becuase I had to program my clock I'm guessing. Also, the dealership might not of filled the tank all the way for me.

This tank that I'm on now, I'm at about 130 and the light isn't on. I have been told that you can get about 160-180 before the light goes on depending on how much you throttle it and everything.

 

full tank i get about 110 - 120milesthen the light goes on..just i do hills riding..i guess it burns more gas going uphill...but when i first got my bike i got 150 miles.

 

after yellow light, about 15 miles if your nice to it. less in "race mode."

 

Tank holds 4.8 gallons when my light comes on I fill it up. and it usaully takes 3.9 gallons to fill it leaving .9 left on reserve so if I were to guess maybe 25 miles being nice. I would only test that in the worst case scenario thou. the most I have gone is maybe 10 miles.

Basing this on I get 31 mpg on average.

 

Ive done just over 30 miles with the light on but i was babying it like you wouldnt believe...
