Default Full system K&N v Stock

Anybody running a full system and a K&N? There is that rumor out there that 929s run better with the stock air cleaner vs the K&N. Has anyone switched back to stock for this reason? For reference - I am running a Micron serpent full sys, pcIII, and ram air... thx

Oddly enough, I have seen a few independant tests that show the stock AF is better.

telepathboy, sorry this is a little off subject. Was the Micron full system worth the money? I guess I mean did you get alot of HP from it? Thanks

It's the only exhaust system I've had on this bike other than stock but the power gain was AWESOME. Given the fact that it was only about $900.00 from hardracing.com I'd say it was totally worth the money - It's easy to install too. I put the serpents, pcIII, and ram air ducts in all at the same time so I can't really speculate how it would be with any individual component but the power difference was HUGE. Also, I really think it sounds good too... Deep and rich at idle and below 3500 or so but it freakin howls at upper RPMs. My wife used to be pissed because she could hear me coming home from several blocks away HAHA!!
