RE: Forked up manual
Well, I'm not really stuck, I have not disassembled them yet, just sitting on my bench, but I like to go over the service manual a couple of times before I start. I am misssing a page, 13-18 and I am wondering what it was. I am just replacing the seals.
Probably don't even need the maual, but I want to make sure something doesn't fly out that I'm not ready for.
Thanks for asking. Doesn't any body have a maual?????

RE: Forked up manual
Make a note that you will need something to get the seals back in.. They are only to go in one direction.. If they slide back into place something is wrong.. I slide them and you will feel resistance in the direction you want the oil to stay in You can go and buy pvc pipe if you don't have a seal driver at your disposal. I don't remember the correct sizebut it does and will work to drive in the seal. Measure the oil coming out and be sure to pump out all the existing oil and clean every part you can dry... The process is quite simple but DO NOT!!!!!!!! reinstall the seals the wrong way or they'll blow apart on the highway
