what makes you want to go with a 200? what kinds of riding do you do ? that plays a factor in determining what size tire you should get.

i want more rubber to be touching in a straight line....hence...racing in a staight line... =)
I mean i still go out and ride with the guys, but I would really like to get into takin it to the drag track... and plans are to stretch it, pc3, some head work, cams, and if i still think thats not enough maybe some funny gas at the end of the summer...

well the 190 fits fine so i believe th e200 will fit. never had personal experience with it though so i cant say for sure. especially with a stretched swing arm the larger tire will look great and if you plan to drag it it will help as well. if you were plannin on a canyon carver then 200 probably wouldnt be the most advisable but the truth is most riders wont be able to tell the difference

The 200 will have a slightly larger contact patch. If you are very serious about getting all you can on the ground, you may want to go look at some tires. Even more than going up to a 200, a lot of the differant brands have differant shapes, by that i mean like michelin pilots for example are very rounded, where as Shinko's (crappy tire btw) are very flat across the middle. Anyhow just more food for thought.

Just buy used 190's and deflate them No sense in paying more money for a bigger tire.

Hey TK, I ever show you those pics of my buddy's trick 954?

well i personaly run those crappy shinko's on my bikes[sm=icon_quiet.gif] and no issues yet.

one of the reasons that alot of people i know run the shinko's are that they are alot cheaper than the others, at like $130 for a 200 vs $200+ for something else that your going to smoke of anyways right.

plus when they heat up they get real sticky.
i have a uncle that runs them on his drag busa a friend that runs then on his zx12, and i have took them caynon carving down the blue ridge parkway with the 200 on the back.

OK i obviously made a poor statement above, Shinko's are not a crappy tire. I have no factual evidence to support my claim. I just think they are a crappy tire. I tried one, it heated slowly, was not very sticky, and felt hard as a rock.
