Default Coolant Question Help Please

Hey,
I haven't mess with a motorcycle coolant before but the other day i was riding and stop at walmart and saw coolant coming out of the overflow tube. I check the cap on the radiator and still see that the spring in the cap is still working and the rubber seems to be fine. I switch the coolant. But i notice when the engine is hot, the rad hose would not be pressurize and can still be squeeze, but it would still cool down once the e-fan kicks on. Could it just be that the cap is not working well. If i not mistaken then there should be at least 16lb of pressure in the cooling system unless the cooling system is different from a car. Any help would be nice.

Thanks

the fan kicks on about 215 F. and the temp will go down once the e fan kick on. but my main question is that does the radiator hose ever get hard like when there pressure in the system. The weird thing on my 929 right now is that their would seem to be no pressure in the system but it still cool down like it should.

No the hose should not be hard if it was hard then you would have an issue
