I don't like the look of the mesh in the vents (no offense to you or your bike), but I do like the idea of closing the vents and opening up the top of the fairing next to the frame, that sounds super doable. I'm also thinking about closing the gap that for some reason exists at the front of the tank behind the air ducts.
