Unhappy Cbr929rr 2001

Hi Guys Can anyone help
my 2001 fireblade has a electrical problem Starts and runs and can do this all day long but go out to it the next day and just won't start just turns over, the Mechanic has tried most things Main wiring loom Crank Sensor etc and still no joy, before changing the ECU thought i'll ask if anyone on here has experienced the same faults thanks in advanced.
ps am looking at an ECU unit on eBay and wondered whether a 954 02-03 might fit on to my 929 2001

Before you change ECU have a look at ECT, cam sensor, ignition pulse sensor and have you got a PC on board

The 954 ecu will not fit or work, not without serious modification anyway.

Does it ever get started, or is this a rode it and hasn't started since?
When it doesn't start, are you missing spark or fuel?
Does it have HISS?

With more info, we might be able to help?

Since it has HISS, it would be cheaper to replace the bike than the ecu and all the stuff needed to make it work.

The next question is, when it doesn't start, what's missing? It must be losing spark of fuel, or it would start.
