Default Brake upgrade

The brakes on my track bike are a lot better than my CBR...

Does anyone know if Ducati 748/996 brakes will bolt up to the 929? Or are there any other options for the 929 forks?

Have you considered an RC51 brake swap? I recall seeing a 929 w/ the RC51 brake setup somewhere (not sure it was this forum).

I suppose you could make dif systems work w/ shimming & mounting fab work...but would the benefit be worth the trouble & expense is the question.

ya, all you need to do is swap to 1000rr forks and rotors. you can keep the 929 trees, axle, spacers, and wheel.

then you have ALL of those performance upgrades available to you.

no problem, that's what i did for my fighter (the 954). if you buy and sell wisely, you can make money on it. you'd be surprised how much people are willing to pay for good components for the 929 and 954. i went for 06 07 for the spacers - that way you can have the 320mm discs as opposed to 310's (04 05)
