Default Anyone have a cage on their bike?

Just wondering if anyone hasa cage on their bike that doesn't stunt? More for just protection if the bike does go down, and you don't want to pay $$$ for new fairings and paint.

What are your opinions on this?

I haven't done it, but have contemplated doing it to save me $$ on new fairings if I do ever go down.

If you want it just for the added protection, then you can get the " Race rail" instead of a full bulky cage

freestyle ingenuity all the way! although i do stunt my 929, and it has taken a beating... (ie:dropped it from a high chair wheelie doing about 40, cage took all the impact, and only damaged the cage and little bit of the pipe)

i have only scraped the cage once by accident...but that was leaning way WAY down

but if you do hard leaning a lot, those ^^ race railz are the ****

I agree, i beat the chit outta my 929 and the plastics still didnt get damaged. Few scrapes here and there, but WTF, it was street killer anyways......=-)

I have MXD StreetCage on my 929. I'm not a big stunter. I'm more of a wanna be, so the rails there for those "just in case" incidents. The cage provides way better protection than sliders, so that's why I have them...
