ok, so im sorry this is the 3rd time ive posted on this but now that im putting it together im having trouble.... I took the 954 swingarm to the local honda shop and 1st they tried to tell me it wont work.. i convinced them it would be here the problem.. I asked them to put the 929 bearings in the 954 swingarm and they said there are different bearings between the 2.

so i told them to put the 954 bearings back in the 954 swingarm, is this going to work on my 929 or do i need to have them put the 929 bearings in it??

I know a lot of you have done this, and i cant find the answer to this ? so ur help is appreciated b4 i go and get it back! thanx!

 

bearing have the same p/n? your dealership didnt even bother to look it up...

 

some bearings do have the same p/n and some dont! they checked it, thats my ? is what did everyone go with, all the 954 bearings or what?

 

i got the 954 bearings in mine. the 954 uses 2 needle bearings and one roller. the 929 uses 2 roller and one needle bearing. they use the same bearings jsut different setups. the 954 swingarm calls for the 954 bearing setup, use it.
