WILL A RECTIFIER FROM A CBR 954 WORK ON A CBR 929??? I NOTICED THERE IS ONE EXTRA WIRE ON THE 954 RECTIFIER , A BLACK ONE THAT THE 929 RECTIFIER DOES NOT HAVE? WILL IT STILL WORK IF I SPLICE THE WIRES AND LEAVE THE BLACK ON OUT???

Unfortunatly no, it won't work. Those are two different parts and are not the same. The two bikes have different charging systems, the staters and stater covers are different to. I've spliced wires for the right hand control from a 929 to fit a 954 wiring harness but, don't try to splice the rectifier wires.
I have a 929 rectifier if you need one.
