Default 954 radiator swap Fan wont shut off! plz help

So I have put a lot of work and money into my bike and I recently swap the radiator out with a 954's. now the fan stays on all the time. I'm thinking I might as well put in a new thermostat and see how it goes from there. has anyone had this issue before? how would I know if the thermostat is bad? the 929 radiator had a sensor/switch on it. the 954 radiator doesn't.

Correct. The 954 turns the fan on via the ecu while the 929 uses the switch in the radiator.

How did you wire up the fans?
Better on than off...

A switch would be the simplest thing you can do if you can remember to toggle everything back on once the bike gets hot enough.

I assume you figured everything out with the oil cooler as well, right?
