man....i went riding sat with a few clubs that are friends. So i show up and people start talking how 929s suck and how i should get a real bike like hayabusas or zx-14s or 1000s. I stretched my bike for fun and off the line im taking these bikes. I got 520 conv, bmc air, d&d, and running them. But they still talk s*** and it makes me wanna go out and get a new bike.... i dont know. Just figured ide share.

Fu*c them the 929 was ahead of its time when it came out. And is still one of the best stunt bikes around. One of the most comfortable sports bike and power to weight is great.

a 929 will out handle any of the bike you listed in the corners. I say put it back to stock and show them what that thing can do.

+1 my guess is the ppl giving you crap couldnt ride a tricycle thru a grocery store w/o hitting something.

 

Sounds like they're relying on year model and overall cc's. They may have more overall power, but they won't be able to handle as well. The 929 is an amazing bike. I got rid of my 05' 1000rr and got the 929

Don't worry, they are just JEALY (jealous)... Nxt time they say something and you smoke em ask where the rest of the road is that they need to beat u.... It obviously isn't whatever track you are running at.

Those guys are just posers. They'll probably change out their R1's and stuff when the new model (should I say paint scheme) comes out...Next time you go to bike night, stop by McDonalds and load up your trunk. When you arrive, pull out your grub in front of them...
