Default 929 wont start....

Okay I can't get my 929 to start. I noticed that I have the oil light on and the MIL light is solid, does anyone have any ideas what it could be wrong with the bike...

just curious if you charged your new battery before hooking it up ? because if you just added in the acid and tried to hook it up chances are it isnt going to start.. (essentially a dead battery ) and when you tried to jump start the bike how did you go about it ? did you use a vehicle was thier motor on or not ?

Okay I charged the battery. Now it starts for about 5 seconds and then dies. But when its starts its a weak start. When I gave it alittle more gas its dies on me.

have you tried adjusting your idle control screw located near your stator cover ? if that has been messed with and the idle is too low that could be the problem. can you give a lil bit more history on the bike , has anything happened to it recently like a crash or new parts installed.. was it working fine before you couldnt get it started or has there been on going issues.
