Default 929 "lag"

I just bought a 01 929 and it has a 1-2 sec "lag" when i take off but after that it runs smooth as can be with plenty of power. I have had the fuel injectors sync. but i still have the same problem and it only happens when im riding it, if i put it on a stand and release the clutch is fine. The engine only has 1600 mi on it, can anyone help me????

I can't be much help then. If you've had bikes then you know the ins and outs of pc's and exhaust, what-not. Sounds like it may be a sensor giving a false reading making it rich or lean off the get go under load.

stock sprockets? i notice a little low rpm lag in mine as well but i think my problem is having a after market filter and pipe and not having a power commander and a good tune.
