Default 929 Build

Decided to take the bike apart and do some customizing. I plan on painting the motor, brake calipers and outer fork tubes black. Then powdercoating the wheels, frame, sub frame and whatever else I can black. I don't know if yall have heard of water transfer but I'm going to paint the plastics white then have them dipped in graphics and lay my business decals over the graphics. Hopefully it turns out like I think it will. I don't ride much anymore so I have to do something with the bike. Oh and I have a 954 swing arm to put on it so I'm going to have it powdercoated also. Let me know what you guys think. I've put so pics up from the first night of working on it and I already have a pile of junk.

Mine is going through the same thing. I am going to try and take as many pics as possible since it will be my first completer tear down, self painted bike. Plan on powdercoating the parts that aint chrome. I will sell the chrome also if somebody wants it. While the motor is out ill be doing valve inspections and probably cct replacement. I saw on the street fighter forum a 929 i think in which the builder painted the engine. That **** looks good so thats gonna happen to. Good luck bro and I know itll turn out better than you expect because you'll be doing the most work. Ill try to post as many pics as possible through the process, I should have take photos of the plastic repair with plastic weld......Good luck

Just saw your post about the bike bolts and brake lines. The only way you can get colored lines is getting braided lines. I bought my front ones for like 99.00. I bought the black bolts from bikebolts.com and you wont be disappointed.....Damn good setup for 50 bucks...

Where did you buy your brake lines? I figured bikebolts.com was the best place to get the bolts but wasn't sure.
