929 to 954 rectifier

im trying to put a 954 rectifier on the 929. has different pluggs but there is only one extra wire. it is a full black wire. any ideas anyone. bike is only charging a 10v. and barely doing anything. thanks.

just did this myself, if you have the original plug for the 929 just push down on the little locking tang on the male spade, paper clip works, then snap them into place on new 929 plug, the black wire is unused
